    This year the National Yoga Olympiad will be organized online from 15th to 18th June 2026.

    Extension of Last Date for ‘Registration’ and ‘Applying to Participate’ in CBSE Games (2026-27)

    Reference to CBSE circular no. Acad-19/2026 dated 10.04.2026 and circular no.
    Acad-29/2026 dated 13.05.2026, this is to inform that the last date for ‘Registration’ and
    ‘Applying to Participate’ in CBSE Games (2026-27) is extended upto 16.06.2026.
    After the last date, late fee will be charged for ‘Registration’ and ‘Applying to Participate’ in
    CBSE Games as per details given below:
    From 17.06.2026 to 18.06.2026: Rs.500/- per student
    From 19.06.2026 to 20.06.2026: Rs.1000/- per student
    The late fee shall be paid online while filling the online form on CBSE Sports Portal.

    Observance of World Environment Day & Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 3.0 campaign

    World Environment Day is observed every year on 5th June across the globe to promote
    awareness and action for environmental protection. The theme for World Environment Day 2026
    is “Climate Change.”
    In alignment with the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the initiatives under
    Eco Clubs for Mission LiFE, all schools are requested to organize following activities promoting
    environmental awareness and sustainable practices among students.
    1. Green Summer Camps (5th June – 30th June 2026)
    2. Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 3.0 Campaign

    Engagement of Schools for amplifying the message of Bharat Innovates 2026 event-

    Bharat Innovates 2026 is a national initiative of the Department of Higher Education announced
    by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India during the India-France Year of Innovation on 17th
    February 2026. The event is Scheduled from 14th to 16th June, 2026 in Nice, France and aims to
    showcase India’s deep-tech innovations, startup ecosystem and emerging technologies before
    a global audience bringing together innovators, industry leaders, investors and premier Indian
    institutions presenting pitches across 13 thematic areas in advanced technology and innovation
    sectors.
    Bharat Innovates 2026 is expected to be inaugurated by the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India and
    the Hon'ble President of France on 14th June, 2026.
